Yay Me!!!

I've FINALLY started this whole writing thang .... Hmmmmmm .... Now what?? I'll probably keep this first post kinda short since I don't want to burn out so soon in the game ;)

What to say? What to say?

So this is my blog ... Welcome.

I'm not terribly sure why anyone would have any interest whatsoever in reading anything I have to write but I guess I'll just focus on the writing part and leave the reading part to everyone else.

I think I might actually start by confessing that I am of the opinion that blogging is a super self-indulgent activity. Yet here I am, along with thousands of other people, blogging away to my heart's content. I guess we, as a society, are a pretty self-indulgent bunch so maybe this whole Blog Phenomenon makes total sense.

Now that I've made my confession ... and,no doubt, offended a whole lotta bloggers, I feel much better about continuing. By proclaiming my own hypocrisy, I have freed my mind to focus on the task at hand ... instead of focussing on my reluctance to appear self-indulgent. So,
here I go ... The Reluctant Blogger no more!!

All that said, I'm going to finish up and sign off. My next post will be way more fun and way less "This is my first post and I don't know what to say" ... Here's hopin' :)
